AlNiCo magnets can be divided into castings and sintering according to different production processes. The mechanical strength of sintering is higher than that of castings. The processed products are relatively simple, and it is easier to produce small and irregular products. AlNiCo magnet casting can process and produce aluminum foils of various sizes and shapes, with high strength, strong corrosion resistance, generally no coating on the surface, and good temperature stability. Cast AlNiCo magnets can work at high temperatures (up to 500°C). Although other magnetic materials have strong coercivity, the high remanence, thermal stability and corrosion resistance of AlNiCo magnets make them have different characteristics from other magnetic materials. AlNiCo magnets have high magnetic flux density, good time stability, and small temperature coefficient. They are used in occasions with large temperature changes and have little demagnetization. The magnetic circuit structure is equipped with a magnetizing function, which can make full use of magnetism and has high hardness. For grinding operations only.
Nickel-cobalt magnets have high residual magnetism (up to 1.35T) and low temperature coefficient. When the temperature coefficient is -0.02%/℃, the maximum operating temperature is about 520℃. The disadvantage is that the coercivity is very low (generally less than 160kA/m), and the demagnetization curve is nonlinear. Therefore, although AlNiCo magnets are easy to magnetize, they are also easy to demagnetize.
