Common direction of magnetization showed in picture bellow:
A magnet displays or releases some conservation energy when attaching or pulling something, and then stores the energy applied by the user when pulling. Each magnet has a homing and hard finding at both ends. The south side of the magnet is always attracted by the north side of the magnet.
Common magnetization directions are shown in the following figure:
1> Cylindrical, disc and ring magnets can be magnetized radially or axially.
2> rectangular magnets can be divided into thickness magnetization, length magnetization or width direction magnetization.
3> Arc magnets can be radially magnetized, wide magnetized or coarse magnetized.
Specific magnetization directions can be tailored to your needs.
Coating and Plating
NdFeB is easily corroded because the neodymium in sintered NdFeB is easily oxidized in the air, and finally causes the powder of sintered NdFeB products to blister, which is why the periphery of sintered NdFeB needs to be coated with an antioxidant layer or plating to prevent the product from being oxidized by the air.
Common electroplating layers of sintered NdFeB are zinc, nickel, nickel, copper, nickel, etc., and passivation and plating are required before electroplating.
